Role Overview

As a Technical Engagement Lead within the Partner Hub, you will serve as a key technical liaison between PTC and its partners. You’ll play a vital role in enabling partners, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development of innovative Windchill-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical voice of the partner within PTC, identifying gaps and opportunities for enablement, standards, and best practices.
  • Support partners in designing and developing their Windchill integrations and solutions.
  • Represent PTC consistently and effectively to partners, promoting PTC’s technical content and capabilities.
  • Understand the features, limitations, and capabilities of existing partner solutions.
  • Provide technical support during the partner engagement in the sales cycle, as needed.
  • Ensure partner solutions align with PTC’s SaaS guardrails, and support their build and deployment processes.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to drive technical success.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure partner solutions meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Advocate for partner needs internally, helping shape enablement strategies and technical resources.

  • Advanced technical expertise in Windchill.
  • Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving information.
  • Confident in presenting to both partners and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to visualize complex issues and communicate them effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled in articulating value at both strategic and technical levels.
  • Capable of guiding stakeholders toward achievable, well-structured solutions.
  • Balanced approach to analytical and creative problem-solving.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer- or partner-facing technical role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in consulting, implementing, deploying, or supporting PLM systems or other enterprise applications.
  • Willingness to travel overnight (up to 15%).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience in software development, build, and deployment (e.g., Java, JSP, XML, Ant).
  • Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM.
