Position Summary: The Senior Workday Analyst is a key member of our HRIS team, responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and support of our Workday system. This role will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into effective Workday solutions, and ensure the system's accuracy and efficiency across various modules. The Senior Workday Analyst will also play a critical role in system enhancements, new module implementations, and ongoing user support.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Configuration & Optimization:
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday solutions across relevant modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent & Performance).
Identify and implement enhancements to improve system efficiency, user experience, and alignment with business needs.
Maintain system configurations, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Support and manage all Workday releases and functionality updates, including testing and configuring new features and processes.
Business Analysis & Solution Design:
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other business partners to gather and document detailed business requirements.
Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements and Workday configurations.
Conduct gap analysis, recommend solutions, and provide consultative guidance on Workday best practices.
Reporting & Data Integrity:
Develop, maintain, and support a variety of complex reports, dashboards, and queries using Workday reporting tools (e.g., Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Calculated Fields).
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Workday through regular audits, troubleshooting discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
Support data mapping for system integrations, conversions, and acquisition-related projects.
System Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide advanced technical support to end-users, addressing system-related inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
Research and resolve complex system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
Act as a subject matter expert for day-to-day technical issue diagnosis and drive resolution, collaborating with external consultants or Workday support as needed.
Project Management & Leadership:
Manage and lead Workday-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Develop and execute test plans and scripts for system enhancements, integrations, and updates.
Mentor and guide junior Workday Analysts or team members, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
Participate in cross-functional internal Workday team meetings to review and propose system changes, report on high-impact activities, and manage tenant-related tasks.
Integration Management:
Support the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Workday integrations using various tools (e.g., EIB, Core Connectors)
Ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other internal/external systems.
