Job Summary

As a Business Financial Analyst I, you’ll support accurate financial tracking and reporting for mortgage loan portfolios. You’ll review escrow requirements, oversee legal expense accounts, and manage key accounting transactions to help ensure timely tax payments and transparent investor billing. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot discrepancies, strengthen financial systems, and support division-wide projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Review loan-level escrow requirements to ensure proper impound collection and timely tax payments
  • Maintain tools for escrow analysis and partner with systems teams on enhancements
  • Coordinate with third-party tax services to validate property-level data and manage payments
  • Track legal expenses, reconcile accounts, and prepare investor billing
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and special financial analyses
  • Ability to work on-site at least once per month is a requirement of the role. *

Skills and Background You’ll Need

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience – Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or a relevant analytical role
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in financial spreadsheet tools and systems
  • Ability to interpret financial data and support audit/regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with mortgage servicing or escrow processes

Preferred

  • Experience with investor billing or asset management systems

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$54,000.00 - $79,250.00
