Pay: The expected hiring range for this position is from $55,000-$70,000/year plus additional bonus opportunity. The stated hiring range is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Final compensation decisions will take into account a variety of considerations, including individual skills, internal equity, and organizational needs.

JOB SUMMARY
The Appraisal Reviewer II manages the process flow of real estate appraisals ready for review through the appraisal management system(s) in compliance with applicable policies and guidelines, investor requirements, and Federal and State regulations.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Daily analyze high risk appraisals to identify deficiencies, heightened appraisal concerns, incompleteness and then request revisions as needed. Higher risk appraisals may include CU/LCA scores 2.6 and higher, appraised value over 1 million and/or indicating a risk of over or under valuation, complex properties.
- Daily decision appraisals or determine next level review based on collateral underwriting review standards and update LOS.
- Daily evaluate appraiser’s quality of work, communication, and timeliness of appraisal reports for scorecards.
- Daily deliver completed appraisal reports in accordance with policy and procedures and service level guidelines.
- Manage revision requests from underwriting and investors, as needed.
- Manage reconsideration of value requests, as needed.
- Act as subject matter expert for inquiries from staff/management regarding valuation and review decisions.
- Maintain production requirements.
- Remains updated on the real estate appraisal industry trends and compliance.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Years of Related Experience: Minimum five (5) years of valuation experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Real Estate Appraiser in good standing with national registry and state licensing board(s) or minimum five years of appraisal review experience with a minimum of 1 year with Silverton.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Working knowledge of USPAP, AIR, HUD, VA and GSE guidelines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with solid computer skills.
- Analytical thinker and consultative mind to support both team members and managers in all areas of the business.
