What You’ll Do 

Senior Accountants assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statements and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Senior Accountants review assigned areas of responsibility for continuous process improvement. They are responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and implementing internal controls over areas of responsibility. They investigate and research accounting questions related to internal and external reporting issues and assist in training others in the Accounting group, as needed. This position reports to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis. 

50% - Month-end Close & Financial Reporting 

  • Oversee the monthly revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with GAAP 

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all monthly billing and revenue journal entries including the preparation of all balance sheet and income statement reconciliations 

20% - Forecast & Analysis for respective business units 

  • Prepare the revenue annual budget and monthly projections 

  • Perform detailed revenue variance analysis by industry, client and business units 

  • Develop revenue analytics to identify and present potential issues and opportunities 

10% - Work with different business partners to gain insight and knowledge that could affect forecasts 

10% - Support external audit 

10% - Perform ad-hoc analysis or special projects 

Who You Are

Preferred Skills & Experience  

  • BS in Accounting 

  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis/general accounting functions, including revenue accounting and the monthly close process 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Must be an analytical and critical thinker with the ability to dig deep into the details but present high-level findings to management 

  • Exceptional MS Excel skills 

  • Detail oriented and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to work within a team environment 

  • Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly 

  • Netsuite experience preferred 

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations  

  • CPA or equivalent highly favorable, but not required

Salary Range

$80,000.00 - $95,000.00
