Job Title: Project Coordinator II - Network Operations (Temporary)
Location: USA - CA - Fremont
The Project Coordinator II supports execution of network operations initiatives across engineering, infrastructure, and field teams. This includes coordinating Smart Hands resources, managing site access approvals, and tracking logistics for network hardware and equipment. The role is critical in ensuring that both people and parts are in the right place at the right time to support lab or production deployments, migrations, and operational projects.
Scope:
Coordinates moderately complex projects, resource scheduling, and logistical workflows
Manages people access and part logistics across multiple regions and time zones
Exercises sound judgment to resolve day-to-day blockers in coordination, access, or delivery
Follows established procedures while recommending improvements for operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and track project schedules, milestones, and action items
Coordinate on-site support (e.g., Smart Hands, vendors, regional techs) based on project needs
Submit and track physical site access requests for internal and external personnel
Liaise with facilities, security, and site leads to confirm and maintain proper access timing
Track part logistics including shipments, deliveries, staging, and on-site handoffs
Confirm parts are received and available prior to scheduled deployment or work
Work with on-site points of contact (POCs) to ensure access, equipment, and prerequisites are aligned
Provide weekly project updates, risks, and completion status to stakeholders
Monitor ticketing queues and assist in reassigning, escalating, or following up on open tasks
Document meeting outcomes, decisions, and follow-ups from project syncs
Identify recurring issues related to access, scheduling, or logistics and escalate appropriately
Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics, access, and project coordination workflows
Assist PMs and SDMs with identifying KPIs and building reports or dashboards as needed
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Associate’s degree or equivalent and 2–5 years of relevant experience in network operations, field coordination, or technical project support
Experience coordinating physical access for Smart Hands, vendors, or on-site support staff
Experience managing logistics and tracking parts shipments, deliveries, or hardware handoffs
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across distributed teams
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with ticketing and project tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Asana)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while staying highly organized
Proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented
Understanding of technical environments such as labs, data centers, or NOCs
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting network operations or hardware deployment projects
Familiarity with access management tools and logistics workflows
Background in a managed service provider (MSP) or large-scale infrastructure support environment
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to perform standard office tasks including computer work and video conferencing
Flexibility to occasionally shift work hours to support global project teams
Some roles may require movement across buildings or data center environments
Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional and technical setting
Salary Range
$44,232.00 - $69,840.00 USD (Salary)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
