The Vice President of Finance plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group’s financial strategy across owned and affiliated properties in Hawaii and the APAC region. Reporting to the CFO, the VPF provides strategic financial oversight in key areas including performance evaluation, asset and capital management, reporting, liquidity planning, and investment strategy.
The Vice President of Finance (VPF) is responsible for overseeing financial performance evaluation, asset management, insurance, reporting and overall financial strategy. The VPF will work closely with other senior leaders to ensure the company’s financial health and provide strategic recommendations to drive growth. Support CFO for the overall oversight of the financing and liquidity areas for OHG owned properties and affiliated entities and properties, for the Hawaii and APAC properties (owned and managed).
The VPF will provide asset management responsibility roles for Hawaii and APAC properties through consultation with executive committee members, GMs, and DOFs to improve the profitability and maximize returns for the OHG investments. Assist CFO in manage cash flow, financing/loan covenant and liquidity to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations and strategic objectives. Work closely with VP of Design/Construction to facilitate renovation projects/draws. Under guidance of CFO, work closely with Corporate Director-Accounting and APAC Corporate Director of Finance to ensure accurate and timely for both internal and external financial reporting in accordance with current US GAAP and USALI 12th Edition, and future editions.
This is an in-office role based in Honolulu.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in hospitality industry required, with both resorts and condominium exposure. Minimum 10 years of experience in the leadership positions with proven accounting, finance, analytical skills and businesses processes development in a dynamic business environment, with proven experiences in financial evaluation, modeling and strategic planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
Candidates with CFA or CPA credentials, or a background in public accounting, are strongly preferred.

$200,000-$245,000 with potential for adjustment based on factors such as an applicant’s skills, experience and/or education.
