Northrop Grumman Propulsion Systems and Controls (PS&C) facility in Elkton, Maryland began solid-propellant rocket operations in 1948. Today, the Elkton PS&C facility designs, develops, and produces solid-propellant propulsion and ordnance systems in programs professionally managed for a wide variety of Government and commercial customers. The facility also serves as the hub for offsite engineering and test facilities in Ronkonkoma, NY and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Elkton, Maryland is located on the Upper Chesapeake Bay, midway between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Assist receiving inspection with coordinating and processing incoming inspection items. Review and complete identified inspections according to inspection plans, process control documents and other requirements. Assist inspectors in the preparation and execution of inspections. Provide analysis and data to support program investigations. Assist Hold Crib Coordinator with processing NC task assignments. Assist in the review of cert packages. Prepare and present hardware and material packages to external customers for acceptance. Perform dimensional and visual inspections and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines when needed. Perform Admin duties such a purchasing for the receiving inspection team and updating training records.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 6 years combination of related experience and/or education
- 5 years of dimensional inspection experience
- Must have In-depth knowledge of TipQA
- Must have at least 2 years Coordinate Measuring Machine operation experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US citizen
