Your Role
We’re looking for a passionate Data Engineer to help us unlock the full potential of data in making the world a safer place.
In this role, you’ll design and implement scalable, efficient data solutions that empower business teams to make fast, informed decisions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather complex requirements, maintain and optimise production data pipelines and APIs, and develop robust data products that evolve with the business. Using tools like GCP, DBT, and JIRA, you’ll manage tasks, write clean, high-performance code, and ensure data integrity through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
You’ll be involved across the full product lifecycle—from planning to post-release support—while ensuring all data products meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and usability.

This is a permanent full-time role offering you the opportunity to be based anywhere in Australia.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have the following:
Relevant experience in data or analytics engineering with a strong data product development background
Proficient in SQL, Python, and DBT; experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform is essential
Hands-on experience with AI-driven data testing, optimisation, and governance tools
Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Passion for building innovative and scalable data solutions
Excellent communicator—able to simplify complex data concepts
Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, evolving environments
Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable with ambiguity
