Your work will impact millions of dollars in the form of everyday retail prices, promotional strategy and effectiveness, clearance management and competitive pricing. Here, you’ll be a key business consultant to merchants and develop relationships with buyers, senior buyers and leaders. Your strong partnership with Marketing will bring offers to life for guests, and you’ll also work closely with Store Operations, Finance and other key support areas.As a member of Promo Operations, you will work closely with our core users in Merchandising and our support partners to effectively research and resolve offer issues with the goal of providing the best possible guest experience. Additionally, the Senior Promo Specialist will proactively scan the offer landscape to identify issues early and mitigate them downstream. This role supports the Price & Promo Strategy team and all merchants in the execution of promotional offers. The Senior Promo Specialist will report on the critical issues they fixed for weekly enterprise reporting; adapt to changes in promo processes, particularly as they impact support; and adapt to changes in systems and their impact to support. You will consult users on their issue and mitigation methods for future prevention, execute and maintain key enterprise offers (examples include: Team Member Wellness offers, etc.). Finally, you will communicate weekly promo execution Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the entire user base, and provide greater team with issue recaps (on critical issues) in an effort for all team learning and ensuring best resolution.Core responsibilities are described within this job description. About you: • Four-year degree or equivalent experience• 1+ years of experience in an operations or support team• Strong trouble shooting, analytical and problem solving skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to manage execution and maximize relationships• Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word and Excel)
