The Opportunity
Our St. Paul, MN location is seeking an ambitious, self-driven, and detail-oriented individual to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Systems Engineering team. Individuals in this role will assist in translating stakeholder needs, participating in system architecture definition, writing system and product requirements, developing and executing characterization activities, and be instrumental in ensuring our products exceed our user’s expectations. Other work may include supporting V&V, identifying and mitigating system hazards, and investigating field issues.
What You’ll Work On
- Review stakeholder needs and translate them into system requirements
- Review, create, and update system architecture.
- Decompose and allocate system behavior to derive product requirements
- Develop and execute system characterization activities.
- Work closely with cross functional team members including Marketing, Product R&D, Preclinical Engineering, Design Assurance, Regulatory, and Verification teams to ensure that design implementations satisfy their respective requirements.
- Support system verification and validation activities.
- Work as part of a systems engineering team on new product development programs.
- Utilize multidisciplinary engineering knowledge and experience to design, develop, and troubleshoot new products in the cardiac mapping and ablation space.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in R&D environment or medical device field or equivalent.
Desired Characteristics
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
- Matlab or other programming experience.
- Holistic system-level thinker capable of speaking abstractly at a system level while also being able to dive into technical discussions at the product and FW/SW levels.
- Working knowledge of cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology.
- Working knowledge of ISO 29148 and ISO 15288.

The base pay for this position is
$60,000.00 – $120,000.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
