Gesponsert von DesignlabThe warehouse & inventory officer tracks stock movement and ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Conduct regular stock audit and reconciliation processes in support of the objectives of the organization. The role plays a large part in ensuring optimal inventory levels and implementing efficient inventory control processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with inventory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, disposal, and stock adjustments, to ensure compliance with financial controls
Overseas the engraving, labelling & tagging of asset identification number on all parts/assets
Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies
Verify and post inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
Ensure timely replenishment of stock by coordinating with procurement and logistics teams
Perform regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
Performs any other duties as assigned from time to time which may be deemed to fall within the remit of the post
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of HND/BSc degree in any related field
3 - 4 years of relevant experience
Good understanding of inventory management and control
Proficiency in computer applications and ERP systems
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Sound Knowledge of inventory management techniques and systems
Ability to work under pressure and respond professionally to competing demands
Analytical skills
