Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Aircraft Composite Mechanic to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

• Aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts
• Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have composite repair experience
• Receives technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician
• Enter relevant data in aircraft logs and records.

The position requires the ability to pass an assessment at the end of training cycle.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role
• 2+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical composite component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts
• 2+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair
• 2+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as micro bonder, vacuum gauges, heat blankets

​​Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 2+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications
• 2+ years of experience with prioritizing workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
• Experience presenting to leadership, internal and external customers
• Experience with developing and maintaining partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers
