Position Details

The Department of Management within the John H. Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa invites applications for a term position in Management available Fall 2025 at the Instructor/Assistant Teaching Professor level.

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 11,000 undergraduate and graduate students.  The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area.  UT reflects this vibrancy; with 20 consecutive years of enrollment growth UT boasts 229 student organizations, a multicultural student body from 50 states and 140 countries, and "Top Tier" ranking in U.S. News and World Report.

Responsibilities include a teaching load of three courses per semester and participating in department activities.  The primary responsibility for this position is teaching the freshmen level Introduction to Global Business course (BUS 101).

Qualifications

An MBA or other business graduate degree with 18 credit hours in business from an AACSB-accredited school.

Preference will be given to candidates that have both university teaching and applied organizational experience.
