RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the design and execution of research and development activities in support of research development and innovation team under supervision
• Contributes to technical communication of experimental plans, observations, results, and conclusions with internal stakeholders
• Contributes to further development of the scientific capabilities of the department through the review and sharing of current scientific literature, implementation of training, and development of intellectual property
• Maintains thorough documentation and communicates experimental observations, results, and conclusions in verbal and written format, as required.
• Adheres to all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures, follows SOPs, cGMPs and regulatory guidelines (where applicable), and actively contributes to the continuous improvement of safety and quality standards.
• Closely work with other departments such as Analytical, Manufacturing Formulation Process Development, and QC.

REQUIREMENTS

• In their 3rd or 4th year of a in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Sciences program
• Strong in both written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong in problem-solving skills and utilizes scientific knowledge, experience, and technical creativity to independently determine and propose approaches to overcome technical challenges; is capable of recognizing unanticipated or adverse outcomes or deviations
• A team player, but be able to able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to adhere to policies and procedures and ability to learn new techniques quickly and skillfully
