The Specialist, Employee Communications and Events will contribute to the development and execute on the employee communications and HR Programs yearly plans, engagement events and activities. This includes developing and managing content on the company intranet, and other internal comms channels as it relates to the HR programs initiatives, broader enterprise initiatives such as quarterly Town Halls, line of business and partner group initiatives that will require employee communications support.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Manage project deliverables, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.

  • Monitor, maintain and respond to internal partner inquiries and requests.

  • Develop, maintain and execute on the employee communications calendar which is mapped to all employee engagement initiatives and broader enterprise initiatives.

  • Maintain editorial governance so content is consistent with FCT brand voice, style and tone.

  • In collaboration with other, implement an employee communications intake process and guidelines for all internal communication channels.

  • Seek input and create content for Employee Snapshot and Leader Exchange newsletters.

  • Create presentations, communications plans, associated collateral as required.

  • Support the planning and execution of all employee engagement events and initiatives.

  • Keep current on industry best practices, tools and resources for continued enhancements, as applicable.

  • Support and evaluate results of campaigns and events with the team.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 3-5 years of related work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media relations, Journalism, or equivalent experience

  • A storyteller with articulate writing/editing expertise as it relates to a variety of marketing or communication materials, supported by a portfolio of relevant project and work assignments.

  • Experience with content management systems, design software, and digital communications.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Ability to understand business drivers and various audience needs.

  • Solid project management skills with proven ability to collaborate with others and utilize resources across the company to achieve an objective.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative work environment.

  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.
