Position Overview
The Autodesk Developer Enablement Team empowers internal and external developers to seamlessly integrate Autodesk solutions across Desktop and the Web. We are seeking a motivated Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India, and be a part of our journey in building the next generation platform.
You will be part of a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers. You will be responsible for architecting, designing, building, owning, and delivering various components, services, and frameworks, while collaborating with teams across multiple locations.
As the ideal candidate
You understand what it takes to build and support business critical desktop clients, components, services and frameworks
You have a passion for programming, CI/CD and automation
You are customer oriented, and drive towards addressing customer pain points
You have agile mindset and believe in taking initiative, ownership and driving towards high standards
Responsibilities
Design, build, test and release desktop clients, components, and frameworks.
Align with team goals that connect to the wider organization goals.
Mentor, guide and collaborate with other team members across geos.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
7-12 years of software engineering experience
Strong C++ programming skills and experience developing frameworks and desktop applications
Ability to multi-task between complex projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Enjoys working collaboratively in a team with high trust
Experience with Scrum and agile processes will be a bonus
Technology stack: C++, SQLite, JavaScript
Familiarity with secure engineering practices
Cross-platform development experience with Windows, Mac and Linux will be a bonus.
