We are looking for a motivated intern to support the Chief of Staff (CoS) and his team. This is an exciting role with exposure to private banking and investments, amongst others, providing opportunity to learn more about the banking world.
The incumbent will provide support with the following aspects:
Business development & business management:
- Support design Yearly Front Office GVA and Investment strategy plans definition & execution
- Support design and launch new services or products, pricing review,…
- Support coordination business development with Investment Banking, monitoring and reporting
- Support merger & acquisition market intelligence on French-speaking part of Switzerland, monitoring and reporting
- Support wealth planning on project management side
- Support CoS on day-to-day issues solving or escalation topics with various internal partners such as Internal Audit, Risks and Compliance functions
- Support with the coordination with local and divisional Top Management (CEO, Head of Private Banking, Head of Investment, Executive Committee members,...) for daily business & various ad-hoc requests
- Support CoS with various presentation and ad-hoc analysis needs
KPI & Management Information Systems (MIS):
- Support Front Office Geneva and Investment various MIS and KPIs definition and review
- Support Front Office Geneva and Investment Budget bottom-up definition & review with Finance
- Support CoS with reporting activities: Executive Committee front office dashboard, Executive Committee Investment dashboard, Front Office Monthly book and pipeline review, ad-hoc management presentations
- Provide support and collaborate within the framework of diverse projects in Front-Office and Investments, local or divisional projects and initiatives
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- high School degree, Bachelor or Master in financial related field
- completed financial internship of at least 12 months in internal / external consulting is a big plus
- Knowledge and interest in financial markets and private banking
- Fluent communication skills in English and French (written and spoken). German is a plus
- Service oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills
- Proactive attitude with the ability to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and reliability, flexibility, commitment and responsibility
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Avaloq and MIS, a plus.
