A Brief Overview
Under the direction of the Lead Distribution Technician and the Distribution Supervisor, the Distribution Technician is responsible for restocking supply carts, delivering them to department units. Assists with the warehouse shipping and receiving management. Performs mail room duties.

What you will do
- Responsible for the receipt, distribution, and stocking of all SHC-TV supplies and equipment
- Utilizes appropriate inventory methodologies designated by the Lead Distribution Supply Tech
- Organizes and coordinates inventory space usage
- Participates in all scheduled physical inventories for supplies and equipment
- Makes checks to product carts to ensure they are properly stocked and expired product is removed
- Follow up on back orders for customers
- Assist with processing supply orders in the warehouse, inspect, log and put-away counting.
- Maintains proper hand-held function and procedures
- Works in the mail room processing mail. Sort and deliver mail to the departments Runs the Pitney Bowes meter
- Drives the SHC-TV courier vehicles and or personal vehicles to transport supplies between sites.
- Employee must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. C-I-CARE is the foundation of Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley patient-experience and represents a framework for patient-centered interactions
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience Qualifications
- 2+ years to 3 years inventory / warehouse control Preferred
- Prior experience with hand-held computer experience Preferred
- Courier/delivery driver a plus Preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Oral and written ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of people.
- Ability to read product information accurately
- Good computer skills
- Self-starter
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of proper use of a hand-held barcode reader
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift, push and pull 50-lbs
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, evenings.
Licenses and Certifications
- CADL - California Drivers License - Valid And In State required

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $25.38 - $33.50 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
