Job Description: 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by ISVs.
  • Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
  • Use modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications.
  • Complete SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral trait:

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor´s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Python or C#.
  • 1+ years of experience working on Software Development projects.
  • 1+ years of experience in Agile best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level.
  • The position is in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Knowledge working with Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of control version and CI/CD (GitHub).
