Job Summary

This role supports Change Management within the CONNECT Distributed Access Network Change Team, which is focused on innovating, building and operating the best in class, most reliable edge network for our customers. We deploy the gear that makes up that network, we fix it when things break, and we upgrade it as we find ways to make it faster, more capable, or more resilient. This all adds up to a never-ending series of upgrades planned and managed by our team with our partners

Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager within our CONNECT Change Team, you’d own the delivery of changes that continually improve every component that makes up our industry leading network. You’d own the process followed by our product managers, engineers, decision makers, and other teammates to make those changes a reality. And you’d own the communication of that process and the changes that follow it to platform owners and other stakeholders. This role requires a proactive and collaborative leader who can see the big picture and take ownership of delivering incremental results to achieve it.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan daily DevOps change control meetings, track decisions made and follow up on actions

  • Plan conflict-free change schedules in accordance with stakeholder needs and tool abilities

  • Monitor daily change progress, follow up on issues that could increase risk for future changes

  • Communicate upcoming changes to stakeholders within and outside of our org

  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow dashboards to monitor change activity

  • Drive continual improvement by analyzing change success data for opportunities to reduce risk

  • Maintain, continually evolve, and communicate the change process for your area of focus

  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in a timely manner

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships across the organization

  • Complete work accurately and meet all deadlines

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • BS/ MS degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of relative work experience, ideally change, product, or project management in a technical field working with software releases
