MAC, INC. PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATION STATEMENT:
In the performance of your respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to confirm to the following:

POSITION PURPOSE:
Serves the company as the Engine Manager and is responsible for the management and administration of the airline�s engine programs. The position also provides technical troubleshooting assistance as necessary to Maintenance Control and the line station technicians and performs duties as an analyst as requested. Coordinates activities with: VPM, DQ/CI, DO, Director of Safety, CASS Analyst, General Manager, Heavy Check Line Supervisor, Lead Technicians, Lead Planner, Manager of Maintenance Training, ICM and Parts Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
� Monitors Company�s Maintenance Programs effectiveness in relation to powerplants.
� Monitors the Engine Condition Trend Monitoring Programs and its effectiveness.
� Interacts with the OEM for each power plant type on reliability and program issues.
� Coordinates with OEM and Customer on all spare engines for status and availability.
� Coordinates with OEM and Customer on all engine assets for proper positioning to support fleet requirements.
� Monitors the Quick Engine Change (QEC) programs and to ensure QEC is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
� Coordinates all engine changes and ensures they are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
� Ensure all engine shop personnel are properly trained to perform duties as required.
� Ensure the Engine shop is maintained to HS&E standards.
� Daily oversight of engine performance and engine status.
� Liaison with the engine manufacturer for upkeep of the engines on-wing and in storage.
� Oversee concerns regarding engine operation with line station personnel. Assist in troubleshooting and provide guidance on engine conditions.
� Oversee the Engine Maintenance Program.
� Oversee the engine maintenance performed during heavy maintenance.
� Monitor and implement fixes for the engine trend monitoring program.
� Review engine teardown reports as applicable.
� Calibrates tools required are maintained as outlined in GMM Ch. 16.
� Provide guidance to the Manager Maintenance Training regarding the Engine Run and Taxi Program training course.
� Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
� Must hold a current A & P license and have a minimum of 3-5 years of heavy maintenance engine experience.
� At least 3 years maintenance experience in Part 121, 135 or Part 145.
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work nights and weekends and have a flexible travel schedule. Must have open-minded flexibility and excellent communication skills. Must have industry awareness and have a compatible personality along with strong lateral leadership skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
� Direct supervisor of Engine Shop Lead and Technicians.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
� ATR Fam Course.
� Airworthiness Release Authorization.
� Receiving Inspection.
� General Safety.
� Quality System Awareness.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
� Work typically performed in an office/hangar environment. However, due to work requirements, may require frequent travel/work in the heavy maintenance facility will involve exposure to noise, chemicals, adverse temperatures and other similar hazards.
