Job Description:Lead and manage a team in Internal Logistics Engineering for new product introduction and continuous improvement projects.
Train team members in customer-specific new product introduction processes.
Conduct front-end engineering for logistics processes, including automation estimation, dock and equipment requirements, and surface area needs.
Support program teams with cost justification studies.
Present station readiness and logistics/station design plans to steering committees, customers, and core launch teams.
Lead simulation and bottleneck analysis to identify and eliminate process constraints.
Direct Station Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams on implementing design/process improvements.
Ensure ergonomic evaluation data (Process Simulate Human, ErgoMan) is provided to relevant teams.
Lead or participate in Kaizen workshops and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Track and report launch metrics (cycle time, first-time quality, downtime, throughput).
Support pilot builds, tool tryouts, and process validation during pre-production.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering (or related field).
5–10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, internal logistics, or industrial engineering.
Proven experience leading projects related to new model launches, process planning, or logistics engineering.
Prior exposure to OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments preferred.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or plant launch programs.
