**********OWENS SALES & MARKETING REP RESPONSIBILITIES***********

Territory Management

  • Responsible for territory management, administration, and accountability.
  • Building relationships with referral sources to generate steady referrals that meet sales goals
  • Ensuring continuity between the provider practice or post-acute setting and the home setting in order to maximize patient satisfaction of respiratory and home medical equipment services
  • Improving awareness and confidence among healthcare professionals, physicians and patients regarding current home medical equipment services
  • Coordinating referrals to ensure timely admission and appropriate patient care based on doctor’s referrals
  • Appropriate call coverage on all key physicians and customers.
  • Reports & records are thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Appropriate management of individual marketing and entertainment budgets.
  • Timely to meetings, appointments, etc.
  • Completion of delegated responsibilities in a professional and timely manner.

Professional Selling Skills

  • Pre-call planning.
  • Ask probing questions.
  • Practice good listening skills.
  • Strategic positioning.
  • Closing sales calls (ask for the business).
  • Handle post-call follow up.

Sales Planning and Execution

  • Strategic sales planning and execution using market share data, competitor analysis and reputation scoring.
  • Analyze marketplace including market share, competitors and opportunities for growth using CRM.
  • Enters call plan and outcomes into the CRM system. 
  • Develop aggressive strategic sales goals with Sales Manager monthly.
  • Execute strategic sales goals.
  • Review & evaluate strategic sales goals on a regular basis with Sales Manager. 
  • Utilize marketing resources effectively to accomplish strategic sales goals.

Sales & Marketing Results

Promotional Events Marketing

  • Oversight & execution of marketing and promotional events.

  • Clear and timely measurement of results from events. Return on Marketing (ROM). Results detailed and disseminated to appropriate personnel.

*************** WELLSCRIPT SALES & MARKETING REP RESPONSIBILITIES********************

Referral Source Management

  • Proactively maintains and grows relationships with referral sources to increase sales and patient starts. 
  • Serves as a point of contact and representative of Wellscript to provide assistance and service to referral sources.
  • Plans regular visits, in-services, and phone calls with top sources. 
  • Helping to identify targeted sources in new areas within market reach.
  • Research and scout possible opportunities with assistance from Pharmacy Manager and Operations manager

Record Tracking

  • Track and report all sales activity, client interactions, and market developments. 
  • Checking on the status of pending referrals and providing assistance to help close them. 
  • Prepare and present sales plan and report for the team during a monthly Targeted Marketing Meeting. 

Communication

  • Maintain good contact with the pharmacy and support services. It is expected for the Sales Representative to reach out for assistance on a referral for a targeted medication that comes through or for a targeted source. 
  • Actively participate in team meetings. Share in the daily huddle to discuss plan for the day and ask for assistance on obtaining documentation that would give reasons for visiting offices. 
  • Contact medication representatives on a regular basis to maintain a good working relationship. 
  • Communicates frequently with supervisor to discuss opportunities, assess progress, and provide feedback related to promoting the services of Wellscript

Sales Planning and Execution

  • Develop aggressive marketing goals and strategies during a weekly meeting with Leadership.
  • Set and achieve marketing goals based on monthly Targeted meeting
  • Utilize marketing resources effectively to accomplish strategic sales goals.

Administration

  • Identify new Infusion opportunities based on current restricted payer networks, current limited distribution drugs, pipeline drugs, new specialist prescribers, and all other infusion opportunities. 
  • Work with manufacturers and medication representatives to gain access to limited distribution drugs and payer networks.
  • Monitor all interactions and meetings and provide regular updates to Leadership of the status of network access.
  • Utilize analytic reports and dashboards that will improve infusion understanding and performance.
  • Engage in external collaborative organizations such as the National Home Infusion Association and National Infusion Center Association.

Other Responsibilities

  • Keeping documentation updated for marketing access to vendors. Eg. VendorMate-Enloe


Requirements

**********OWENS REQUIREMENTS*********

Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.                     
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications.                                             
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills                             
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision                                
  • Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for hours at a time
  • Oxygen, PAP, NIV & DME equipment knowledge is preferred
  • Sales & Marketing Experience Preferred


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing

Experience

  • 2 years experience in a sales role
  • Healthcare sales experience is preferred

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Licensure
