💰 $600 Sign-On Bonus Available!

HOURS: OnsiteFull-time, 40hours, Monday- Friday; occasional evenings and weekends, and on-call consultation, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Administer and oversee prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards.
  • Responsible for security of medications.
  • Conduct sick call each morning.
  • Prepare equipment and aid Physician, Psychiatrist or Psychologist during treatment, examination and evaluation of residents.
  • Maintain comfort and safety needs of residents.
  • Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
  • Respond to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol.
  • Coordinate medication inventories with pharmacy on a scheduled basis.
  • May transport residents to medical appointments.
  • Schedule all medical, dental, eye appointments and follow-ups as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Currently licensed in South Dakota as an RN.
  • Must hold a minimum of an associate’s degree, and one year experience in nursing. 
  • Must be knowledgeable of Title 19, Indian Health and insurance management systems.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards.
  • Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks for criminal convictions, behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.
