Job Overview:
A Talent Program Owner is a training & development program manager that creates and implements all in-person training, development, and talent management events at Leslie’s. The ideal candidate will possess a robust skill set encompassing program design, development, data analysis, stakeholder management, in-person facilitation, presentation skills, communication writing and planning, and fast execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and development of innovative training and development programs and materials tailored to meet the specific needs of varying business areas (corporate, retail associates, service, Distribution Centers, etc.).
- Incorporate industry best practices and emerging trends into program design as practical, relevant skill development.
- Conduct frequent and thorough analyses and assessments of training initiatives, providing actionable insights to enhance program effectiveness.
- Generate comprehensive reports to measure the impact of training efforts and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and department heads to understand training requirements and ensure alignment with business needs and goals.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive engagement and support for training initiatives.
- Facilitate in-person training sessions, workshops, and events with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Deliver compelling presentations that captivate and educate participants, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Develop clear and effective communication materials related to training programs, ensuring consistency and alignment with company messaging.
- Create comprehensive communication plans to promote awareness and participation in training events.
- Oversee the accurate execution of all in-person training, development, and talent management events and that all are executed before or within the expected timeframe
- Manage logistics, resources, and timelines to ensure seamless, on-time, and quick delivery of programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in training and development.
- Proven expertise in program design, development, and execution
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
