Summary:
The Senior HR Manager will support the strategic and operational goals of the HR & General Affairs Division at III and its subsidiaries by managing core HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, compliance, and HR operations. A key focus of this role will be to elevate strategic talent management practices to identify, develop, and retain key talent to support long-term business growth. The individual in this role will work closely with business leaders and HR counterparts to ensure consistent and compliant HR practices, drive employee engagement, and support leadership development efforts. This role is ideal for an HR professional with experience working in international organizations and a strong ability to operate in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Partner with the VP HR to execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives across headquarters and subsidiaries with a focus on talent planning and engagement.
• Lead day-to-day employee lifecycle HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, offboarding, and everything in between.
• Strengthen talent management efforts by supporting succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential talent identification.
• Administer and support talent review processes; support the development and delivery of training and development programs.
• Support VP HR to manage group companies’ executive compensation, as well as retention of their key managements.
• Support VP HR in the review of mergers and acquisitions planned by III’s business divisions and group companies, as well as assistance in implementation of required post-merger integration (PMI) plan.
• Advise managers on employee relations and performance management matters; ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
• Facilitate cultural integration initiatives, particularly in cross-border or post-acquisition settings.
• Prepare HR data, reports, and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
• Act as a liaison with subsidiary HR teams to promote alignment and share best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, policies, and procedures.
• Support HR-related audits and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including generalist responsibilities
• Experience working in a multinational, matrixed environment
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
• Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 10%)
