Summary of Job Description: 

Incumbent works directly with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Communication to plan and execute internal, external, and some employee communication efforts. This includes a variety of channels including email, web, newsletter, advertising and more. Must be a skilled communicator with experience in crafting compelling messages, building engagement, and aligning communications. 

 Minimum Requirements: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication including strong editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly strategic and proactive with the ability to anticipate and problem solve. 
  • Ability to analyze data, generate creative ideas, evaluate solutions, and identify possible consequences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (i.e., Sitefinity, Wordpress).
  • Experience working with email platforms (i.e., Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Communications experience required.
  • Three (3) years or more of management experience required.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule which may include work assignments on nights and weekends.
