Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Must trim product to correct specifications.
• Responsible for removal of excess fat, blood splashes, bruises, bones and foreign material. This process involves the use of a knife to cut meat pieces as necessary to meet requirements.
• Must be able to perform responsibilities of Item # 2 at prescribed line speeds.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with other Trimmers to ensure the workload is shared and finished product specifications are achieved.

Qualifications:

• Position requires standing in place during performance of job functions.
• Responsible for following GMP’s, SOP’s, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, plant rules and policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in room temperatures 30°F to 40°F and handle product that is 30°F to 40°F.
• Must be willing and able to perform other job functions as needed.
