Description:

The Catering Driver is responsible for safely transporting Plum Market Catering orders to and from event sites while delivering exceptional Guest Service. This role includes on-site setup and breakdown, light service support, and assisting with prep work between deliveries. The Catering Driver represents Plum Market in the field and ensures every catering experience meets our brand standards for quality, hospitality, and professionalism. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks independently while upholding all safety and compliance standards.

What you will bring:

A valid chauffeur’s license and a clean driving record.

A working knowledge of vehicle operation and safety standards.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with ongoing random and post-incident drug and alcohol testing.

Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

What you will do:

Safely transport catering orders to and from events using company vehicles.

Set up and break down catering at off-site locations, including light service and event support.

Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation during transport and service.

Assist with production prep and cleaning tasks in between deliveries.

Maintain accurate records of mileage, time, and vehicle condition.

Ensure all compliance logs and safety protocols are completed and followed.

Wash dishes and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
