Description:
The Store Team Leader is accountable for the overall leadership, performance, and daily operations of the store. This role drives financial success, ensures exceptional Guest Service, and fosters a strong culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork. The Store Team Leader sets clear expectations for departmental execution, oversees compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and leads with integrity and vision. This position is responsible for achieving store-level goals related to sales, margin, payroll, safety, sanitation, and Guest engagement.

What you will bring:
Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in a high-volume retail, grocery, or foodservice environment.
Strong business acumen and the ability to manage budgets, payroll, labor, and key performance indicators.
Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain top-performing Team Members.
Strong knowledge of store operations, merchandising, inventory control, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Flexibility to work a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
What you will do:
Lead and model exceptional Guest Service, ensuring a warm and inviting environment across all departments.
Champion a hospitality-driven culture, developing Team Members to deliver memorable Guest interactions.
Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, payroll, labor management, and department readiness.
Drive financial performance through margin control, sales goal achievement, and expense management.
Ensure compliance with Plum Market policies, food safety, sanitation, health department standards, and weights and measures regulations.
Communicate clearly with Team Members, Store Leadership, Support Office, and the Director Group to ensure alignment and execution.
Foster a high-performance team environment through ongoing coaching, training, and performance management.
Lead store-level meetings and initiatives that support operational excellence, engagement, and accountability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalation and issue resolution.
