Driver

New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC), a non-profit organization seeking energetic and reliable drivers. The candidate will help transport our clients to and from the various programs in our facilities, at most 15 passengers at once. In addition, working closely with the Facility Director. We seek candidates with a clean driving record, at least 1 year of driving experience in the area, and familiarity with GPS devices or map applications via mobile devices. This is a full-time driver position with an average of 35 hours per week from Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. 

We are currently seeking Drivers in the following areas:

• Kearny, NJ

Responsibilities include:

• Interacting with clients in a professional manner
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the van and notify the Director
• Ability to work in inclement weather
• Monitor the front desk area during office hours 
• Working occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 1-year driving experience in the respective area
• Clean driving record
• Ability to manage time and routes for streamlined pickup/drop-offs
• Work well independently
• Open and transparent communication with colleagues
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps 

Starting salary is $30,940. Negotiable
