POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing escrow and tracking required insurance coverage, including tasks associated with member escrow balances and insurance renewals. Verify adequate collection and administration of monies collected, review discrepancies found within the administration of the escrow account and administer any corrections. Process members’ annual escrow analysis in accordance with RESPA guidelines. Assist with researching and resolving all escrow analysis related requests and inquiries received for escrow tax and insurance questions and escrow analysis. Monitor all insurance with ISI by adding and refunding Collateral Protection when needed. Post payments, fund home equity loans, prepare all documents necessary for completing loan files, including scanning. Order appraisals for Real Estate loan request. Maintain files, Release of Liens, mail and answer and direct telephone calls. Provide professional service to members. Cross sell products sold by the credit union. Responsible for coding, posting, and preparing all documents necessary for funding both home equity and consumer real estate loans. Prepares and assists with miscellaneous paperwork.
Assumes responsibility for providing effective administrative support for all phases of loan processing activities and promotions.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication with area personnel and management.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of consumer real estate loan products and services.
• Knowledge of escrow analysis, property taxes/insurance and payment schedules.
• One to two years of experience with managing escrow accounts for Consumer Real Estate Loans.
• Strong typing abilities.
• Good verbal public relations skills.
• Able to operate calculator, word processor, and related computer applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• None.
• Knowledge of loan processing and funding functions and related requirements and procedures.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws affecting escrow processes and procedures.
• Minimum six months loan processing experience.
• Three to five years of experience with managing escrow servicing functions of Consumer real estate loans.
