We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Maple Grove team. As a MLT, you will be responsible to support our lab departments. This position performs moderate complexity testing and phlebotomy.  

• Hourly range for this position is $24.50 - $29.50. Pay is based on years of relevant experience.
• $1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS: When hired as an MLT, you are eligible for a $1,500 tiered Sign-On Bonus! Bonuses will be paid in three installments. All signing bonuses will be treated as regular income and subject to all applicable taxes. 

 Responsibilities:
 

• Work in our COLA certified lab performing moderately complex testing
• Perform a variety of tests in the areas of chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and limited microbiology 
• Perform phlebotomy and collect / process specimens following appropriate collection procedures
• Record and report each test following laboratory policy
• Work with a team of lab personnel under the guidance of the Lab Supervisor
• Complies with procedures and policies to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements: 
 

• Graduate of an accredited MLT (CLT) or MT (CLS) program required
• ASCP certification required
• Prior lab & clinic experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
• Willingness to travel to other locations if needed
