What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for conducting direct recruitment activities, and interfacing with other outreach contractors in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
- Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking; develop linkages with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations, local high schools, one- stops, and churches; participate in center tours; contact potential enrollees to explore enrollment.
- Prepare, schedule, and provide outreach presentations in the assigned area; provide outreach presentations in support of the regional outreach efforts.
- Maintain accountability logs of organizations contacted, individuals contacted, referrals to screening agencies and subsequent enrollments.
- Assist with contacting prospects, scheduling tours, and information sessions in coordination with admissions staff.
- Assist with leading tours, follow up on all attendees with an email, text message or phone call.
- Conduct a tour survey and communicate to supervisor and the center for follow-up
- Assist with the attainment of outreach/recruitment goals each month
- Refer youth to designated screening or other support agencies, as appropriate.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking required. Social media and computer proficiency are also required.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
