Location: Waterford, VA

Schedule: Overnight Shift - Tuesday-Saturday from 10:30pm-7:00am.

Compensation: $19-$23/hour depending on education level and experience.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference. If you have a strong work ethic and a passion for mental health, you’ll thrive in this role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's preferred.

  • Background Check: Must pass ADP Selective Screening Services and other Federal/State background checks.

  • Valid Driver’s License: Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer, walk/stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs., and navigate stairs

Key Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills with families, clients, and staff

  • Ability to remain professional, empathetic, and patient under pressure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite

  • Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology (preferred but not required)


Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Technician (Community Coordinator), you’ll be a vital part of the treatment process, ensuring that clients receive the care, guidance, and support they need. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Direct Support – Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring a structured and supportive environment

  • Transportation & Safety – Safely transport clients to scheduled activities and medical appointments

  • Behavioral Observation – Monitor client behavior, document observations, and collaborate with clinical teams

  • Medication Support – Work with the nursing team to oversee medication self-administration

  • Environment Maintenance – Maintain cleanliness and organization within residential facilities

  • Facilitating Group Activities – Lead and document recovery-focused group sessions

  • Emergency Response – Adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and respond to crises as needed
