- Recruiting: Develop strategies/programs to improve retention, oversee in the development of sourcing strategies and flow of candidates. This will consist of both direct recruitment (search & selection) as well as through partnerships with recruiting and/or staffing agencies.
- Hiring and onboarding flows: Optimize and standardize flows supported by uniform processes, training schedules, and plans, etc.
- Employee Relations: Be the go-to person for all workplace issues, create a positive work environment and work with leadership to support them in optimizing employee/manager relationships and communication.
- Talent Management: Nurture talent by identifying and developing new opportunities within the company.
- Performance management: Assist leadership with review documentation and processes to enable further growth within the company.
- Policies: Create and implement various HR-related policies in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Employee moral: Participate in creating a "fun to work for" company environment by organizing team activities and events.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA in Human Resources or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of Human Resources related experience.
- Experience implementing retention strategies.
- Must have previous employee relations experience.
- Ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage large scale change, and influence people at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage change and work in ambiguous situations.
- Must demonstrate the highest level of integrity, ethical behavior and be able to maintain confidential information.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft office suites
- PHR/SPHR / SHRM CP/SCP a big plus, but not required.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Manufacturing industry experience.
