Hybrid Production Order/Finished Goods - Transporter bei US Cotton

Operate a forklift to gather and stage dispo materials on upcoming orders in the staging area. Pull all laydowns ahead of time for day and night shifts. Operate computer CAM systems to print labels.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.

• Locate and stage Dispo Order materials in the proper area by Line Number up to 36 hours ahead of needs.
• Print labels for Dispo's that have been pulled.
• Pull all laydowns ahead of needs for day and night shifts and stage in proper area.
• Return unused materials from the "Return Dispo Area" to the proper location. Count the unused materials and enter into the system.
• Remove filter waste bales from the filtration room and place in designated area of the warehouse.
• Unload materials from trucks (cotton, boxes, and pallets).
• Maintain 6S and housekeeping in the Dispo area and cotton storage area of the warehouse. 
• Maintain a safe and clean work area (sweep, wipe down machines, pick up cotton and trash).
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

• Must have previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience. 
• Forklift Experience
• Experience with Shipping/Receiving software in not required but is preferred

EDUCATION

• High school graduate or GED equivalency required 

SKILLS

• Strong math skills. 
• Ability to learn and operate computer according to company programs. 
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communicational skills. 
• Safe operation of all warehouse equipment including tow motor, computer, calculator, scales, battery chargers, and plastic wrap machine. 
• Read and use work order pick lists. 
• Follow all standard operating procedures 

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE

• AS400 
• Tow motor certification 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. 
• Able to withstand changing climates (temperatures range from 85 degrees to -20 degrees)
