We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Global Business Center in Barcelona. This role is pivotal in supporting and training business users and suppliers on the SAP Ariba platform, mainly within the Buying & Invoicing and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) modules. The ideal candidate will also take on business administration responsibilities to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of the Ariba environment. Additionally, the role includes supporting direct procurement operations in SAP ERP.
Responsibilities
User & Supplier Support
- Provide day-to-day support to internal users and external suppliers on SAP Ariba modules (Buying & Invoicing, SLP, Sourcing & Contracts).
- Deliver training sessions and create/maintain user guides or documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in collaboration with IT and procurement teams.
Business Administration
- Monitor and manage approval workflows and system notifications.
- Perform basic configuration changes.
- Conduct regular data quality checks and reporting.
Direct Procurement Operations
- Support the creation and maintenance of scheduling agreements and outline agreements in SAP.
- Modify existing agreements to add or remove materials or update pricing as needed.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline procure-to-pay processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
- Analyze data to recommend improvements in system usage and efficiency.
- Initiate the change request process for identified improvements.
- Support testing and validation of new features or configurations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the procure-to-pay process, especially vendor creation and purchase order.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within same or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (Buying & Invoicing and SLP modules).
- Experience working with SAP ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
