The Marketing & Recruitment department at INSEAD drives global outreach to attract top talent for the school's programs. It develops strategic marketing initiatives and recruitment efforts to engage prospective students and strengthen INSEAD’s brand presence worldwide.

INSEAD is looking for a Marketing and Events Specialist to the Marketing & Recruitment Department. This is a full-time, temporary contract based on our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau.  A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home. 

About the job

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Events, the Marketing and Events Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the organization of 50 to 70 recruitment events per year for all Degree Programmes.

Working hand in hand with the Manager, Marketing and Events, the jobholder is responsible for driving attendance to events, ensuring the successful implementation of the marketing strategy. The jobholder directly contributes to the generation of target application numbers.

Your role within the team

  • Upon event confirmation: Take ownership of the event organisation, manage full logistics and ensure support for the smooth running of on-campus, off-campus, online recruitment events, for all Degree Programmes
  • Communicate and update all stakeholders involved
  • Negotiate quotations, manage the communication and the relationship with the venue (physical events)
  • Build strong relationships with current students/participants and alumni, contribute to their engagement towards the School
  • Manage the events database and ensure relevant updates
  • Introduce Zoom Webinar online events, provide support for Q&A (moderator), manage recording of event and post-event communications to prospects
  • Run post-event reports, analyse the performance of each event to bring forward new ideas and efficiencies
  • Manage the calendar of events for her/his portfolio

The ideal candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s level 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a position requiring organisational skills (marketing/ event management would be a plus)
  • Fluent English (written & oral), fluent French would be a plus
  • CRM/database management skills, or strong interest and willing to learn
  • Strong IT skills (Pack Office)
  • Outstanding planning, organising skills
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to learn new tools fast
  • Able to adapt to change and having a sense of initiatives
  • Able to prioritize and juggle with tight deadlines/ multiple events and other projects
  • Strong team player spirit, committed, reliable
  • Autonomous, ability to work with remotely based colleagues
