Support the hazard identification, risk management, safety assurance, and safety promotion activities of the NetJets safety management system by conducting and reporting safety data analysis, combining analysis of FDM programme data with other safety data sources.
- Develop and review FDM programme procedures and software tools, in liaison with the Aviation Risk Manager, to ensure the accurate analysis of flight data and identification of operational safety hazards;
- Support and monitor the daily management of the FDM programme activities to guarantee that flight data is efficiently uploaded into the FDM software and validated in a timely manner;
- Develop new analysis methods of company safety data to identify safety hazards and assess potential safety risks;
- Conduct safety analysis with the aim of identifying operational safety hazards and assess any associated risks to NetJets operations;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the risk management of safety hazards and safety issues, by preparing and presenting relevant safety data analysis results;
- Support the management of NetJets risk register to ensure that it reflects the risk profile of NetJets operations;
- Support company SMS safety training and promotion activities to enhance the safety culture within NetJets;
- Maintain good contact with appropriate industry organisations and sources to ensure that NetJets continues to develop and maintain the best safety practices and standards.
- 5 years of experience in commercial aviation environment with experience in Flight Data Monitoring;
- Good knowledge of flight physics, aerodynamics and mathematics;
- Experience in database management and programming;
- Knowledge of aircraft operations, aircraft systems and basic piloting techniques;
- Knowledge of aviation safety management principles and practices;
- Knowledge of risk quantification and analysis techniques;
- Knowledge of quality management and human factors principles is highly desirable;
- Experience with numerical computational tools (MatLab™, R) is desirable;
- Excellent analytical skills and very good presentation skills.
