Customer Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within existing accounts, understanding their evolving needs and aligning our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve account outcomes.

 

  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Meet activity expectations required to maintain entire book of business
  • Develop and implement tailored strategies for account growth, including personalized outreach, targeted offers, and solution-based selling.

 

  1. Customer Engagement:
  • Proactively engage with clients through regular check-ins, reviews, and business discussions to identify and address potential growth opportunities.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and promotions.
  1. Pipeline Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates on account status, growth progress, and any challenges or opportunities to senior management.

 

  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
  • High volume outreach to existing and potential customers with the goal of setting up meetings with outside sales team.
  • Coordinate with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

 

Required

  • A minimum of 3+ years of relevant technical sales experience or operational experience in the food processing, dairy, life science, water treatment industry and a desire to move into a customer facing role is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote role, with 2 days per Week Home Office  possible
  • 20% of travel time.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience with virtual account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques is preferred  
  • Demonstrated experience working with sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Experience in a fast paced, growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life science, or related technical discipline
  • Languages : German (C2) English (C2) additional  EU Languages of benefit (Dutch,  Danish,  Polish )
