About this Role
The Ozone Project is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to join its growing Technical Operations team.
As a Technical Account Manager at Ozone, you are supporting the operational implementation and management of Ozone’s platform technologies across publishers, ensuring timely onboarding and ongoing, best in class, technical support.
This role requires an understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, specifically with DSP & SSPs as well as other key technologies (ad-servers, DMP, CMP etc).
We want to speak to candidates: (i) with demonstrable experience of driving business growth; (ii) who work tirelessly to identify business issues and opportunities; and (iii) who take proactive ownership of their projects and deliverables.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting Ozone’s implementation and maintenance of RTB and Audience infrastructure across customers. This includes:
- You’ll manage the technical onboarding of new publisher partners, ensuring smooth and timely integration across Ozone’s advertising stack.
- You’ll work closely with Publisher Services (Business Development and Account Management) to translate publisher business goals into technical solutions and operational delivery plans.
- You’ll be comfortable giving platform demos and lead with publisher services on articulating and demonstrating new products and features.
- You’ll act as the primary technical point of contact for publisher accounts, supporting ongoing optimisation, troubleshooting, and adoption of new tools or features.
- You’ll take ownership of technical documentation and best practice guidance to support consistent delivery and scalable publisher integrations.
- You’ll play a leading role in improving and maintaining Ozone’s technical support function for publisher stakeholders, helping to triage, resolve, and prevent recurring issues.
- You’ll proactively identify integration issues or technical blockers, and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, TradingOps) to deliver timely resolutions.
- You’ll work on continuous improvement of onboarding and support processes to improve operational efficiency and publisher satisfaction.
- You’ll represent the voice of the publisher in cross-functional initiatives, ensuring publisher requirements and feedback inform the roadmap.
- You’ll begin to take steps into leadership by mentoring more junior team members and contributing to internal enablement.
Required Experience / Skills
- 7+ years of experience working in an advanced digital advertising business, preferably as a TAM or part of an Ad-Operations team or Programmatic Trading unit.
- A strong understanding of key programmatic technologies, including ad-serving, DSP & SSP setup, DMP, CMP and various tracking solutions.
- Familiarity with Headerbidding/Prebid and OpenRTB protocols within the programmatic ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience utilizing browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools, Firefox Developer Tools) and network proxy tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Fiddler) to inspect, debug, and modify HTTP/HTTPS traffic.
- An understanding of data analysis, preferably a working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with a range of analytics platforms, including Google Big Query & Google Data Studio.
- A proven track record in delivering excellent service to stakeholders; to be evidenced by glowing references! This includes the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ad serving and tracking.
- Enjoy problem solving and be data-led in your approach, using insight to isolate issues to appraise paths to resolve and inform business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and business writing skills.
- Well-organised and diligent with a strong ability/willingness to learn and adapt.
- Curious and proactive, with the ability to approach tasks with rigour and urgency.
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly & concisely to stakeholders, including through the creation of ‘best practice’ documentation.
- Preferably, experience with project management tools such as Jira.
