Senior Data Engineer – LLM-Enabled Platforms

WHO YOU ARE
You are a Senior Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience building data platforms and backend systems, including at least one production project involving LLM features. You excel in Python, SQL, and Spark/Flink, and have hands-on experience with ELT pipelines, Airflow or Dagster, and both relational and NoSQL databases. You're comfortable working with containerization, IaC, and data security best practices, and you collaborate effectively in English and Spanish to deliver clean, well-structured data that powers AI-driven solutions.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and maintain batch and streaming pipelines that feed LLM products with fresh, clean, well-catalogued data.
- Build ELT jobs in Python or Scala, automate with Airflow/Dagster, and store outputs in data warehouses and vector stores.
- Expose feature stores and retrieval APIs that Data Scientists can consume easily.
- Keep infrastructure observable (logging/metrics) and cost-efficient
- Contribute to the same coding assessment used for the Data-Science role (data-engineering variant).
POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Must have
- 5 + years in data-platform or backend work, including at least one production project that powered an LLM feature.
- Fluent in Python, plus SQL and Spark/Flink.
- Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL systems, data modeling, and schema evolution.
- Experience with containerization and IaC.
- Solid grasp of version control, unit testing, and code-review culture.
- Business-level English and Spanish.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with vector databases.
- Security best practices for data anonymization and role-based access.
