Description

The HR Intern will support day-to-day Human Resources operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources within a professional environment. The HR Intern will learn about HR best practices, employment law basics, employee relations, HR systems, and organizational development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of employee files, orientation materials, and training schedules
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files
  • Assist with benefits administration and responding to employee inquiries
  • Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and events
  • Support HR compliance efforts, including documentation and audits
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and presentations as needed
  • Participate in HR projects related to performance management, policy updates, training, and process improvement
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Requirements

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently  completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 2.5 GPA or higher 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with HR concepts or HRIS systems is a plus
