North Atlantic Service operates a diversified portfolio of small businesses in the Seacoast NH, southern Maine, and northeastern Massachusetts areas. North Atlantic is a leader in quality and customer service in the commercial snow removal, and landscaping industries.
We are seeking a Part-Time Recruiting Coordinator to support our high-volume seasonal hiring efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to gain hands-on recruiting and HR experience.
- Pay Rate: $18 – $24 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Hours: 15–25 hours per week, flexible scheduling available around school or other commitments.
- Schedule: This is a seasonal role expected to last October through January, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities:
- Screen and review incoming job applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring all necessary documents are collected, processed, and reviewed correctly.
- Communicate with candidates and returning staff regarding next steps and onboarding needs.
- Conduct screening calls with candidates.
- Contact candidates to schedule interviews with hiring managers or the recruiter.
- Coordinate interview schedules and manage communication with candidates throughout the process.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Prior recruiting or HR experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Indeed, Paylocity, or other ATS and HRIS software is a plus.
