AEM & AEP Engineers - Martech - (Mid & Senior Levels) na Vanguard

Vanguard’s APAC Marketing Technology (MarTech) team is a passionate, innovative group driving the future of marketing through technology. We partner closely with Marketing, IT, and global stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and impactful digital experiences across Adobe platforms.

We are expanding our team and seeking multiple engineers—mid-level and senior—with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and/or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to help us build and optimize our marketing technology ecosystem.

**This hybrid role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based Melbourne, AUS**

As an AEM or AEP Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust marketing solutions using Adobe tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver personalized, data-driven customer experiences.
• Drive platform enhancements, integrations, and automation across AEM and AEP.
• Support marketing operations and ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Experience:

AEM Engineers

• Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Workflows).
• Proficiency in Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Sling/OSGi.
• Experience with CMS architecture and reusable components.
• Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service is a plus, not required.
• Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and responsive design.

AEP Engineers

• Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Platform (CDP, AJO, CJA, Launch, Target).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and journey orchestration.
• Experience integrating AEP with CRM, analytics, and email platforms.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, and API integrations.
• Knowledge of data privacy and governance best practices.

Additional Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms (not required).
• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Jira, CI/CD pipelines).
• Background in data engineering, analytics, or microservices.
