Ready to bring your financial expertise to this retail environment. We have an opportunity to join our Centre Management Office at Stockland Rockhampton Shopping Centre and play a key role in managing the financial operations for the centre.
About the opportunity
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial support across a range of business activities. This permanent full-time role (Monday to Friday) offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and retailers.
Your strong background in financial administration and stakeholder engagement will help to ensure smooth day-to-day processes and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Oversee monthly billing and debtor collections, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of disputes
- Prepare extended trade and other miscellaneous charges
- Manage accounts payable and, monthly accurals and expenditure tracking
- Be the primary contact for financial queries related to accounts payable and receivables
- Compile financial reports and liaise with head office as needed
- Administer public liability incident processes in line with company guidelines
- Reconcile gift card funds and maintain accurate records
- Provide administrative support to the team
- Priortise and manage incoming enquiries and correspondence
- Supervise and support the Administration Assistant
About you
- Proven experience in financial accounting/administration
- Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Proactive approach to improving processes and team efficiency
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP (highly desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Experience working with offshore financial teams would be a plus but not essential
