The Opportunity - About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manager to join our Business Improvement and Innovation team. This newly created role responsible for driving delivery excellence, ensuring effective execution across the portfolio to deliver maximum value to Stockland.
This is a full-time role based from our Sydney CBD office with Hybrid work practices supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Progress: oversee the portfolio of agile sprint-based initiatives, , ensuring proper cadence and governance to achieve initiative and enterprise outcomes.
- Track Benefits: Monitor and analyse benefits realisation at both initiative and portfolio levels to maximize organizational value.
- Drive Effectiveness: Monitor velocity and throughput to identify delivery excellence opportunities that will improve portfolio outcomes
- Generate Reports: Report on portfolio performance for stakeholders and governing bodies, adhering to timelines.
- Manage Pipeline: Ensure appropriate demand forecasting and management in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Mature Capability Evolve key resources and frameworks to drive process maturity and enterprise excellence.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with initiative leads and stakeholders as a trusted adviser.
- Leverage External Connections: Maintain connections with the external ecosystem to bring best practices and drive thought leadership.
- Monitor Trends: Keep an eye on industry, customer, and technology trends to identify impacts on initiatives or new opportunities.
- Champion Best Practices: Promote process improvement and innovation practices to build capability among stakeholders.
About You
You are a proactive and strategic leader with a proven track record in managing complex portfolios. You excel in an agile environment and have a knack for identifying and implementing improvements. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders sets you apart
In addition, you will have the following experience, qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in portfolio management, preferably in a PMO, business improvement, or innovation context.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide quality insights and analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and sprint-based project management.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in process improvement and innovation.
- Degree qualified in a related field (such as Business, Commerce, Economics, Project Management).
- Process excellence certification preferred
- Relevant industry and functional qualifications and certifications.
- Demonstrated experience in management consulting, project management, or transformation programs.
- Commercial acumen and focus on outcomes.
- Experience in project delivery and risk management; agile preferred.
- Ability to create results through influencing and relationship skills.
