About the Position:
To support our continued growth within the non-profit sector, the Sales Department is looking for a sales professional with non-profit experience to join our team. This remote position has a requirement to travel 2-3 times annually for sales meetings and conferences. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the non-profit vertical. Ideally, you will develop a database of contacts in the non-profit sector and be familiar with the call center donor experience. Preference for non-profit experience is ideal based on the particulars of the vertical.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and prospect nonprofit organizations that would benefit from AnswerNet’s call center and outreach services.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, conferences, and inbound leads.
Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand client pain points and tailor solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and RFP responses to nonprofit stakeholders.
Partner with Marketing to align campaigns and outreach with nonprofit-specific messaging.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline management within CRM.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with nonprofit leaders, associations, and industry influencers.
Provide feedback from the field to inform product, service, and campaign development for the nonprofit sector.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
Understanding of nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, or outreach operations.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage a sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
CRM proficiency
Self-starter with strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
Willingness to attend nonprofit events, conferences, and networking sessions as
needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3–5 years of B2B sales experience with nonprofit clients or mission-driven
organizations.
Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
Experience selling services (call center, BPO, SaaS, or fundraising solutions) is highly
desirable.
